Historical Fiction
Not all of my historical writing is mysteries. This book might be called a romantic adventure. I hope to add other non-mystery titles in this category before long.
The Flute Player
Lorcis, slave of decadent Roman aristocrats, unknowingly holds a clue to her past . Aided by a fellow slave, the poet Martial, and the kindly Pliny the Younger, she undertakes a journey that leads from the ashes of Vesuvius and the bloody horrors of the Colosseum to the emperor Domitian's palace and the secret meetings of the Christians.
